Privacy policy
Last updated: October 23, 2026
Box Score Audit (boxscoreaudit.com and www.boxscoreaudit.com) is operated by a United States–based publisher. This policy describes how we handle information when you visit the site. The site publishes sports insights and analytics (NFL, Premier League, NBA) for informational purposes only — not gambling advice — and does not run sportsbook affiliate programs in this version.
Who is responsible
The data controller is the operator of Box Score Audit, based in the United States. Contact: privacy@boxscoreaudit.com.
What we collect
- Server and CDN logs — typical request metadata (IP address, user agent, URL, timestamps) processed by our hosting provider (Cloudflare) to deliver and secure the site.
- Essential cookies / local storage — used to remember your cookie preferences so we do not re-prompt on every visit.
- Analytics (only if enabled and you accept non-essential cookies) — aggregate usage such as page views. When Google Analytics 4 is configured, Google may process identifiers and device data under Google’s terms. GA4 is currently configured for this deployment.
- Advertising (only if ads are enabled and you accept advertising cookies) — third-party ad networks such as Google AdSense may set cookies or use similar technologies to serve and measure ads. Display ads are off on this deployment until the operator enables them with a publisher ID.
We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information through the public site.
Why we use data
- Operate, secure, and improve the site
- Understand aggregate readership (if analytics enabled and consented)
- Show display advertising (if ads enabled and consented)
- Respond to privacy requests sent to the contact address above
Retention
Hosting and security logs are retained according to our provider’s defaults and our operational needs (typically on the order of weeks to months). Cookie preference storage remains until you clear site data or we change the consent version. Analytics and advertising retention follow the respective third-party product settings when those services are enabled.
Do not sell / share for cross-context ads
We do not sell personal information for money. If personalized advertising is enabled through AdSense or similar networks, some US state privacy laws treat certain ad-related disclosures as a “sale” or “share.” You can reject non-essential cookies via our cookie banner, which limits advertising and analytics cookies we control on this site. You may also use industry tools such as the NAI or DAA opt-outs and browser controls.
Cookies and similar technologies
Essential: preference storage so Accept / Reject is remembered.
Analytics & advertising: non-essential. We do not load Google Analytics or AdSense until you choose
Accept. Choosing Reject non-essential leaves the site fully usable without those scripts.
Operators may also enable Cloudflare Web Analytics in the Cloudflare dashboard. That product is designed to be privacy-friendly and cookie-light; see the operator traffic notes for how it relates to consent.
Analytics
When a Google Analytics 4 measurement ID is configured, GA4 loads only after analytics consent. Reports are available in the operator’s Google Analytics property. Cloudflare Web Analytics (if enabled in the Cloudflare dashboard) may provide aggregate traffic without a site measurement ID in our build env.
Visitors in the EU / UK
We are a US-based publisher, not an EU establishment. For visitors in the EU/UK, we rely on legitimate interests for essential hosting and security processing, and on consent for non-essential analytics and advertising cookies (via the on-site banner). You may withdraw consent anytime by clearing site data for this domain (the banner will reappear) or by contacting us.
Children’s privacy
The site is a general-audience sports publication. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and we do not design content to promote wagering to minors. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact us and we will delete it where applicable.
